Ellijah Farr: A Trailblazer in Leadership and Academics

Ellijah Farr, a senior at Plano East High School, stands out as one of the longest-tenured members of the DLA Kappa League. Joining the program in the 8th grade, Ellijah’s consistent involvement, combined with his impressive leadership skills, has made him an integral part of the chapter. As the current vice president of the Kappa League, Ellijah has helped shape its vision and mission while inspiring younger members.

Standing at 6'3", Ellijah is also a talented football player, maintaining a 3.4 GPA while balancing commitments to other organizations, such as the En-ROADS program and 100 Men. His contributions to the community are vast, showcasing his thoughtfulness and dedication to making a difference.

Ellijah's hard work has earned him acceptance to Hampton University, a renowned HBCU in Virginia. The Kappa League family couldn’t be prouder, and they eagerly anticipate his impact as he embarks on this new chapter of learning and growth. He plans to study Business Administration.

Tyler Lambert: A Rising Star with Unwavering Humility

Tyler Lambert, a new addition to the Denton-Lewisville Kappa League, has already made an indelible impression with his humility and determination. Hailing from North Garland High School, Tyler is an avid track runner and a young man with a commanding voice reminiscent of James Earl Jones—a voice that speaks of wisdom and poise.

Tyler’s journey to the Kappa League began through an online inquiry through the chapter's website and later via the encouragement of Lanetta Farr, Ellijah’s mother, who recommended the Denton-Lewisville chapter for its strong mentorship and opportunities despite other organizations being closer to his home. This choice proved fruitful for Tyler, who has already

shown exceptional promise within the organization. He serves as the Secretary for the DLA Kappa League Chapter

Tyler has been accepted to two prestigious HBCUs: Grambling State University in Louisiana and Prairie View A&M University in Texas. With aspirations to pursue computer science or computer engineering, Tyler is on a path to innovate and lead in the tech industry.

A Bright Future

Both Ellijah and Tyler represent the core mission of the Kappa League: empowering young men to excel academically, lead with integrity, and serve their communities. These college acceptances mark the beginning of what promises to be extraordinary journeys for these young leaders.

As they prepare to take on the challenges of higher education, the Denton-Lewisville Kappa League remains committed to supporting and celebrating their achievements. We eagerly await updates on additional acceptances and opportunities that may come their way.

Conclusion

Congratulations to Ellijah Farr and Tyler Lambert on their college acceptances! The DLA Kappa League is proud to stand beside you as you take these exciting steps toward a brighter future. Your hard work and dedication inspire us all, and we look forward to seeing the incredible things you will accomplish.

Stay tuned for more updates as these remarkable young men continue to excel and make their mark in the world.
